Fruits of Donations from SL & RL - Sincere Thank you to all donors around the world.

Simple donations brings joy and satisfaction...

Your shared blessing is very meaningful with those people residing in Daanbantayan. The value of donations doesn't count but the sincerity and thoughtful kindness of everyone in Second Life to help others is most important even in a little way. The last minute or one day before the schedule, these breads donations were very helpful to ease the hunger of those kids and adults live in Northern Cebu. The trip in Daanbantayan last December 14 (December 13 for SL) is over whelming for us because we acted like a Samaritans to bring these goodies to affected victims of typhoon Haiyan. 

Here's the packed goodies from accumulated donations from SL and packed breads donated by Cebu Bakers Association through real life friend and 1 bag of used clothes from a friend who go with me on a trip to Daanbantayan. 

How I wish I can bring more but I only have only a small car that looks like sardines when I put only 4 socks with packed goodies good for 25 families but heavy load and 10 boxes of baked bread with a content of 1540 pieces divided into 10 pcs per packed + assorted used clothes in 1 bag. As Thrishia promised to a friend who wanted to help her indigent women with children who lives in Bantayan Island that also affected by this super typhoon. She shared 6 packed goodies and 2 boxes of bread to her but it will take time to bring those goodies as this need to ride boat before reaching that area. And that we can't commit & cross another Island as we have to go back on the same day in the afternoon in the city as we have another real life commitment. Instead she'll ask a trustworthy person to bring these goodies to them but we have to provide him his transportation expenses at least 20$ or around 800 pesos.

During our land trip along the way and as we approaching one of the place in Northern Cebu, Bogo, that also hit by super typhoon, we noticed that some of the children and adult are staying on the side of the highway. We are wondering why but my friend said that maybe they are also asking or begging for some goodies or whatever you can give to them. She asked me if we can share some of the breads so we stop and share some packed breads to these kids but more kids came so we have to limit this and told them to share to each other instead as we are not reaching yet our destination where to give these goodies. We saw this old lady so we stop and gave her packed goodies with packed bread but then she asked for some penny to buy for salt so my friend gave her little amount only. Usually when you give something to others, you don't need to take picture but these photos are just only for documentation and for the purpose that our donors know where the donations go. Photos below are selectively taken in Bogo highway that also hit by the typhoon.

We acted as Samaritan messengers to bring our limited goodies yet worth donations from SL and RL friends & families to some of the affected residents of Daanbantayan. After reaching Daanbantayan municipal hall, Thrishia have to clean up her bladder because of long 4 hours driving. Since we are strangers on this area, my friend who goes with me inquired to one of the government staff who is getting the names of their visitors that brought some donations for their residents. She asked for assistance or guide as to where to go in a remote area since we only brought limited goodies donations and would like to give it to them personally. The staff refers us to go with Councilor Chona. She brought and guides us to go in Maluk-Baluk Agoho Daanbantayan which their house located near the shore. Simple gestures from their faces that you can feel that they are very happy that even a local residents can come as far reaching their area to give or share those simple donations. Since we have limited packed goodies and we have more packed bread, the councilor who go with us decided that we can only give these packed goodies + packed bread to selected senior citizen 60 years old and above and the rest is packed bread and used clothes only.

Only selected residents either senior citizen aged 60 years old above can receive the assorted packed goodies with breads since we have limited assorted packed goodies and only bread for the children or adult.

The photo above is our 2nd stop relief goods distribution nearby shore line with some residents. At that time their municipal is giving away 10 kilos of rice with canvass but only given to those who got ticket as their passport to claim their supply. Still we only gave the left over assorted packed goodies to senior citizen and breads for other residents.

The photos above were the cause of super typhoon Haiyan in Northern Cebu. Affected areas on this part were Bogo, Medellin, Daanbantayan and some islands like Malapasqua, Camotes & Bantayan. Most of Daanbantayan residents lost their homes. Some of the houses are either wrecked or roofless.

Residents who were badly affected are those who live nearby the shoreline. Their forms of temporary shelter were we passed by with 2 residents living in a cemetery tomb. Some stays in a tent from Red Cross, ordinary canvass shared with few residents or just any light materials that they put it together to form a place to sleep.

The photos above are just their simple life style to survive that cause with the previous calamity. They have water supply but their cooking is in an open area. Fishing is only the source of their livelihood.

Most of the residents need to rebuild their homes so according to councilor Chona that some of local and international donors already brought some donations to this affected area in Daanbantayan, Northern Cebu by giving construction materials. These are Swiss & Russian Orthodox who gave housing materials good for 126 households, NGO (Non Government Organization) gave housing materials good for 41 households and another anonymous group that doesn't like to mention their name will donate housing materials good for 50 on December 22. The photos below are unexpected meeting with Daanbantayan Mayor Corro. Even I knew their contact numbers with his assistant Mr. Luche where I got and search from internet, I didn't bother them as we had limited goodies only and these are just personal. No politics involve.

That's the end of our journey by giving our sincere donations to their residents. Got a flat tire going back so we need to drop by at nearby vulcanizing shop to fix it as we need another 3-4 hours drive going back to the city. We took our late lunch along Catmon where we saw lots of Red Cross volunteers.

Charleston, one of the best sim in Second Life is celebrating its 3rd year anniversary. In spite of struggles & surviving in a competing Second Life World, Charleston owners Karen Sunshine Emerald Renierd with her supportive partner Jo Renierd & devoted associate Saminash worked hand & hand for the enhancement of Charleston Couture Sim. It's for the superiority benefits of every SL fanatic and adventurous. Perhaps others might think its business but owners don't get anything in return & they look at it in a different way; by providing a preciosity place to socialize. She wanted to reach out by filling other human inner feelings with this unpredictable joy & forgot real life status. What she wanted is to appreciate what she can share to other people live with different races from around the world. Charleston owner’s priority now is to give their members satisfaction & enjoyment rather than personal need. We all know that we enjoy what really makes us achieved our sincere personal goal, feel each individual sincerity & to have own satisfaction. Let us first commemorate a short history of Charleston. It was started in 2010. KarenSunshine Emerald, owner of Charleston with her excellent ideas on how she will go over with her sim.  She provides different excellent & ambiance places to hang out from 2010-2012. She first established Charleston Lace Grand Ballroom, a place to mimic the ambiance & elegance of the South. Next both Belly Up Blues & Rhett's Place, a River Boats replica plying on the Southern States waterways playing vivid music blues in an elegant & luxurious setting. Charleston's Low Country Saloon where you can hear country tunes & dancing along with others. Progressive continues as they brought magnificent Charleston Vintage Jazz & Swing Club where you can dance & enjoy the burlesque shows.  The Egyptian theme built under Elegance Ballroom where music is romantic & varied elegant dancing in a Roman Empire atmosphere. Josephine's Club was established, a 1920's vintage looks and it was name after famous Josephine Baker where you can hear a sensational melodies from 20's-40's era. Around the sim were supported by a various shops where you can find these wonderful & creative haute couture designers. The rest is history that owner finally decided to focus on their spacious classy & enchanting Charleston Lace Grand Ballroom this year of 2013. It provides more striking live events of selected amazing performers & dj's. They also have a variety of special events like pageant contest, fashion shows & live performers. It was held any of these 3 amazing places where you can find Charleston Lace Romance open ballroom, Charleston Dock Street Theater & Charleston Harbor Beach in Charleston Couture Mall.

ALTUM NEOX & JADE75 OVIS - PERFECT DUO ARTIST

Altum Neox, a gorgeous Second Life singer. He is an Italian native, Mauro Morini in real life. He loves music since at the age of 7. He plays instrumental music like clarinet, piano & saxophone. He joined band where he found his passion to music along with his real life friend until they work together to transmit their success musical arrangement into web radio. By a chance, he found Second Life which he thinks has a potential to share their web radio stream together. He became a DJ from different great venues in SL. Nuriah Laville, a veteran SL singer recognized Altum's vocal talent & invited him to start this new singing adventure. Since then he never stop singing & continue to satisfy his audience with his great performance as an artist to touch their inner soul through his soothing voice.

Jade Ovis, Giada Gaetano  in real life who is from Italy. She is a prima donna artist in real life where she start her career acting in theater at the age of 20 & works as theatrical artist for 15 years in Rome. Went back to her native home & found this virtual world through her friends while she is in grieving moment. She found joy, happiness & meet a lot of amazing friends in Second Life. She met Altum Neox who gave her moral support to fight & move on. They meet in real life to find they have the same likes & passions in music. She is very glad  & thankful to him to work as a team duo singer in Second Life. She has a powerful voice that captivates her audience where she got this skill from her theatrical experienced.

CHANDRA DEED - for her "Music straight from the heart" - SOULFUL ARTIST

Chandra Deed, being born in the South gave her country roots, but traveling with dance bands gave her that funky soul.  Her music will either bring back a memory or hopefully help create a new one, by singing songs from 60's to 90's until current - from Pop to R&B, Rock to Country & Romantic Ballads to Dance.  She is a seasoned entertainer, who sings regularly in the Windy City of Chicago. Since age three, she has been performing in front of audiences and shows. There's no sign of slowing down.  The only real way to describe her style is to say it is "Music....straight from the heart."  Come spend an intimate encounter with Chandra Deed, kick back and be transported through time with some of the all time greatest hits.

CRANSTON YORDSTORM - PERFORMING ARTIST

Dani Plassitz is one of the great singer & designer haute couture in SL. Sweet and very accommodating. Her live concerts are not to be missed. She sings an eclectic mix of classic & contemporary songs from Doris Day to Evanescence. During her shows Dani loves to sing your requests so check out her song list and choose your favorite tune. Her concerts contain both fast and slow romantic songs, so there is something for everyone. Maxx Sabretooth music career began in Oklahoma at the age of 8 when he picked up his first trumpet. Maxx began singing while helping another band member & turned strictly to be their vocalist.  Since then he hasn't stopped! You can hear & feel Maxx's love of music in every note he sings. RIENDRA TASELIAN - FASCINATING ARTIST

Riendra Taselian (Ree-end-rah Tah-sell-ee-an) started singing & entertaining from birth, or very shortly afterward. Family & friends will remember being entertained by impromptu skits & renditions of TV commercials and show theme songs. She is immortalized in family movies! Balladeer Christensen aka "theballadeer" is a real life singer. He belongs to a big family from Maryland, 16 children but they were raised very well by their loving parents. Chick Mistwalker known as DJ Cream was born on Second Life on June 21, 2010. She enjoys playing all types of music genres to let her fanatics sway and dance. DJ MANDALA (dr90210) is a sweet gorgeous guy. He is Mexican native & lives in Mazatlan Sinaloa. He is a disk jockey by heart in real life for the past 5 years. In Second Life, he was born on June 26, 2011. He is happily married to Susan de Mandala, a clothes designer in SL. Since the beginning of his existence in SL, he started working as dj since this is his real work & been djing for 2 years. He played all kinds of rhythms. He is playing from different magnificent venues in SL. He accepts request and he is for hire for some private occasions. DJ STAN - GORGEOUS DJ

Dj Stan is very much taken and loved. He's in love with his beautiful partner Ella who is very supportive with his career as one of the best dj in Second Life! He had been djing for 2 years & playing a lot of kinds of music genres from all decades. He's fan to be with & has a very soft voice. DJ Subrina Barefoot Coignet is a beautiful Native American Indian with strong character. She was born in Second Life on September 20, 2010. She is very passionate about her works as host, dj and model plus she is taking care of other tasks. In spite of real life struggling with her family, she still cope with the difference from real life to SL & tried her best to comply with all works given to her. Content & happily married with her SL & real life partner Richard Coignet. She finished her modeling Master's degree at Classic with Style University & Advance modeling graduate at Audace. DJ Thrishia is a simple, sweet & kind lady. She is very down to earth & loves to gallivant with her real friends. BS major in Business Administration graduate in real life, took nursing as a second course but she didn't finish because of real life conflicts but she does took other short courses in secretarial & Japanese basic language. She had knowledge & skills on planning & construction building & a part time realty agent. One day, a long lost friend invited & even open an account in Second Life which according to him is better than her other game. Thrishia never thinks that SL could offer a lot of opportunities that she never does in real life. She is eager to learn & became active host. She also studied & finished modeling masteral & advance courses at Classic with Style University through encouragement of her SL sister Yuna. Now she is an active & certified SL model. She tried another adventure in djing through encouragement of another friend Paul Scots who owns a stream. Since she loves most meaningful romantic songs, she started djing career last February 2013. At this time she had mixed collections of different music genres from jazz to romance to disco to techno & ready to take request or dedications. She'll be happy to share her soothing romantic tunes to everyone at your comfort, pleasure & relaxation. Come & listen to her magnificent romantic music collections.

DJ Wanda in real life is a digital artist for many years since she was able to hold a paint brush or a camera. She produced portraits & realistic artworks in real life. She is fond of creating beautiful digital arts for many years. She entered Second Life virtual world five years ago. She started working as a host aside from being SL photographer but need to quit as host because she developed a carpal tunnel syndrome. She switched her SL career to a DJ & enjoys every minute of it & became active on this new adventure.  Music becomes an obsession for her as she really loves playing great soothing music collections for her fanatics. She wants her guest to enjoy her tunes same as she is enjoying her artworks making.  She is a regular & versatile dj who had a lot of music collection in SL for more than a year after her real life turmoil health changes. She will be happy to play for everyone to make you relax at your own convenience time & place in real life with an ambiance romantic setting & music's.

The 2013 Sophisticated CWS finalists with Beauties and Styles

The Classic with Style - Simply the Best held another great event at the fashion district venue stage for the finale of Ms. Sophisticated 2013.   It is owned by the proud active owners CEO Ms. Anrol Anthony and Mr. Steve McCullough that always looking forward for the best and amazing fashion show pageant in SL grid. The audiences were always full packed and amuse with the show.  The in house DJ Wildrose provides the enchanting live music.  The three lovely and gorgeous judges that will fully scan the finalists were Sidney Abbot who is a pageants well experienced and the previous crown winner for Ms. Sophisticated 2012,  prestigious guest Ms. Harleybeth28 Amoufhaz and the CWS CEO Mr. Steve McCullough will give their best scores and expertise in scanning all the finalist for their best presentation and one will bring home the crown of Ms. Sophisticated 2013 with huge prizes.  The prizes were a huge amount of 200,000 lindens that is given away on this big finale pageant event.  The photo below is how the fashion district venue is a good place to watch a fantastic and a spectacular big event like this Ms. Sophisticated 2013.  The house is always full of visitors and guest aside from CWS models and students who were presents to support these fantabulous CWS candidates so please excuse if the photo shot is in a low lag level :D. You will also see in the photo the gorgeous golden sexy outfit that is given away free as a token for watching this big event.

There are only 5 contenders that will compete for their beauties, talents and knowledge but all of them were really winners on their own capacity.  They really work on their presentation for the three categories.  These are the swim swear, talents and the question and answer portion. Let's take a peek on their sumptuous and luscious body on their swim swear category but I missed Laci Rossini's sexy outfit so  I only got four sexy outfit photos.  Here's their swim swear outfit for the first category.  The sexy ladies from left to right are Rita Mirror, Sunrae Suntzu, Frayar and Kiralyn Destiny

The second category is the talent portion which all of the contenders did a dance presentation to commemorate their Easter   Some have a nice backdrops like a colorful dancing particles and one is something to do how to worship through dance.  The last portion is the question and answers in the third category that all of them did an amazing focal point on how they will deliver their own answers to the question given to each of them.  Hence the judges have a little hard on finding the right crown winner so let's just hang up and take a look with the dance intermission done and choreograph by the CWS trainees Lisana Rossen, Vicky Yongbo, Tiffani Celestalis and Janet Brink.  Each dance intermission did during after each category and before announcing the winners.  Here's their amazing outfit and the group dancers.

The first dance intermission was done after swim wear category.  The country girl dancers are 

Becky, Lil2imp, Haydenm, Rainwynmskrilpuss, Shadowgirl, Thrishia, Ania, Ladysunfire, Summit and with CWS trainee choreographer Lisana Rossen,  The second dance intermission were done after the talent category with the tune of "I feel like a woman by Shania Twain".  The cuke's dancers were the same as the country dancers and dance choreograph by CWS trainee Vicky Yongbo.  The third dance intermission was choreographed by our hyper active trainee Tiffani Celestalis and her angel dancers are Lil2imp, Summit, Shadow, Becky and Thrishia.  The last dance intermission is to entertain the audience and to give ample time for the judges to finalize their scores and while waiting to find the winner for this pageant.  The choreographer is Janet Brink with the tune of "Putting on the Ritz" with sexy outfit plus amazing backdrop done by our choreographer.  The dancers were the same with the angel dancers and Agee.

Now let's take a look again to our gorgeous 5 finalists with their amazing gown. The first in the photo in peacock style of gown is Rita Mirror, the second to left is Kiralyn Destiny with her elegant gown.  The middle is Frayar who is great looking with her satin gown, the fourth is in beautiful gown Sunrae Suntzu though she must be wearing mesh gloves that my viewer can't be seen sometimes and the last one is with her grandeur gown Laci Rossini.  All of them were really amazing with their splendid yet elegant gowns.

The moment of truth is now on the hand of the commentator of this big event.  The winners is going to be announce but before that here is the prizes that each of them will be taking home. All of them will be home with huge prizes but being on the pageant finalist is already winners on their own category and a good sign that they have the beauty, talent and knowledge to share for everyone.  Always feet on the ground and you will always receive a good praise by everyone who knows you well with your best abilities in fashion grid.
